Get Rid of Your Golf Slice

Would you like to get the fun back in your game and the golf slice out of it?

Read on to discover scratch golfers secrets to building an ANTI SLICE GOLF SWING

A slice can hurt everybody!

As you’re a keen golfer, you know that there is nothing more irritating than seeing your drives and irons lose distance end up in the trees, deep rough, water hazard or worst of all "out of bounds".

Read on to see an  anti slice golf drill  which will cure your slice once and for all

Whilst your playing partners split the fairway, your ball takes a sharp right (or left for lefties).

That slice is the bane of your life. But if you read through the rest of this site you’ll discover there is a drill that you can use to destroy your golf slice in a matter of minutes and develop an anti slice golf swing forever.

I'm Jim Bob Smith Jnr and I currently play off a handicap of 2 (1.5 to be precise). I struggled with a slice particularly when under pressure. After years of suffering from this dreaded slice, I read every book, practiced every drill and I eliminated my slice. My friend Dave Moore has put those learnings into a four step, four drill system incorporating improvements in all areas of your golf swing and this cure for the golf slice really works (even when you're under pressure playing that great round or that "grudge" match).

I put this website together to detail what I have learned about the golf slice and help you eliminate the golf slice once and for all.

What is a slice:

A Slice is a left-to-right trajectory shape for a golf ball flight created by a significant tilt of the spin-axis of the golf ball to the right, or a clockwise spin (it is the opposite for lefties) The slice usually ends up right of the expected target line. A less extreme version of the slice is called a fade.

What causes a slice?

To hit the ball straight every time, you must return the clubface to the original spot at impact. A Slice is caused by the club face being slightly open at the point of impact, thus causing the ball to spin in a clockwise motion, (opposite for lefties).

Faults in the grip, the stance, and the swing plane (both backswing and downswing) commonly deliver that clubface to the ball open and are all common causes of the dreaded slice

The great news is that you have the best feedback mechanism in the world to tell you whether you are on track with your golf swing – the golf ball. Swing correctly and it flies straight and true, do it wrong and voila the dreaded slice.

What swing faults cause a slice?

Grip: Is your grip weak or "open"?

Stance: Is your stance too open?

Backswing: Is your backswing too upright or does it flare open the clubface?

Downswing: Is your downswing flaring open the clubface?

Commonly it is not one aspect of the four elements of the "slice golfers" swing that is the problem, but a combination of problems with a number of the four elements - grip, stance, backswing and downswing.

I highly recommend   The Dave Way     , by my good friend Dave Moore. Dave has developed   a Simple, Easily followed 4 Step, 4 Drill Program     to cure the golf slice. Using these drills and steps will eliminate your golf slice forever, even when you are under pressure on the golf course.

If you need a more complete total golf swing revamp and want a step by step golf swing building program I really like the Drive for Show  video golf coaching program. It has a step by step video series of golf swing lessons and a help line you can use if your having difficulty.
